Air showers are used to prevent the air or contaminants from moving from one space to another. Also these devices maintain environmental separation with a light flow of air, that not only results in lowered energy costs but at the same time helps in preventing air borne diseases and contaminants from moving from one open space to another taking care of sanitation and hygiene. Air curtains also prevents the cold air to go outside and hot air to come inside as well. iLabot Technologies is a manufacturer of cleanroom air showers. Primary function of Air showers is to remove dust and unwanted matter on the surface of entrant and machines passing through it. It is achieved by blowing HEPA filtered air with a face velocity of 6000 ft./minute. This air is free from all types of contaminations such as organic/in-organic matter. Air inside is re-circulated after a filtering process is repeated. These are installed right on the entrance of a cleanroom thus reducing the possibility of contamination.
Our air showers are made according to the requirement of the customers. Our standard model is made for 1 person usage which is perhaps the best way to prevent contaminations. We also manufacture larger models which can accomodate upto 6 personnel at a time.

What are Air Showers?
An Air Shower is an enclosed chamber which is used to remove foreign/unwanted particles on the person walking into it. There are 2 doors, one is for entry and the other one is used for exit after the cleaning process is complete. This is mainly done at the time of entry or exit from clean room installations. The process is pretty simple, high velocity air is blown from multiple directions, directly on the person inside to effect dirt or small particles to fall off from the clothes. The air itself is cleaned using HEPA filters before it is blown into the chamber.Air shower nozzles are specially designed to ensure air rotation in a tangential motion to allow full body dirt removal instead of just frisking the body, which in sub-standard products is a major problem.
Another major feature of Air Showers is placement of exit nozzles for dirt particles to exit the internal chamber. Otherwise, the whole purpose of going through the process will end up in waste as without the removal of dirt in the chamber, the air will keep on circulating with dirt and other contaminated matter.
